Today we determined our overall schedule for filming throughout the week. Monday-Friday we will film the horror scene at the basement location (my house). Saturday, our team is busy so the final scene will be filmed on Sunday instead at Sammamish Lake Park. The above photo captures my discussion with cinematographer Cole Penz on the best time to film so that lightning matches each mood of the scenes. For the final scene in particular, we decided late afternoon and close to sunset works best for a dramatic effect.
